  Don't forget that organ transplants are 'sustaining life' through human flesh and therefore cannibalism. with a track record like this, one wonders why loyal JW's haven't examined the insane blood policy a little bit more.

  Oppression of Women

  this is a bit lengthy, but is a very big issue with me, and that is the issue of women's rights.

  i do agree with women allowing their husbands to make a final decision, being on how women think with their hearts and men think with their heads, making choices often times more logical ones.

  but, the husband according to god is supposed to love his wife as his own flesh.

  It's all real cool. A Norwegian ship is asked by the Australian Nazi regime to help people - they do - and the nazi kangaroos in the Australian government suddenly won't touch the case.

  Kent, while in Norway I felt alot of prejudice against pakistani immigrants. In the US the prejudice is against mexicans. Every country seems to have a select 'undesirable' immigrant population.

  i've never regretted getting myself disfellowshipped.. for me it was a definite pre-meditated action.

  i had realised months earlier that my belief in the teachings of the wtbts was at a total zero.

  i simply could not face another meeting, another hour in the ministry, another watchtower telling me that yet another activity was likely to distract me from wt teachings.. my parents were already besides themselves with worry, i think that when they heard that i had been df'd it was almost a relief to them.

  Now, I would say I am probably more of an extreme case, since I took my involvement with the witnesses so seriously. I really had no friends that were not witnesses up until just before I got disfellowshipped.

  My mom reacted the same way to being dfed. I'd say yours is a typical, rather than atypical reaction

  1. i was born and raised in south georgia.. 2. my favorite subject in school was math.. 3. i was in the fulltime service (bethel and pioneer) for 4 years.. 4. my favorite color is blue.. 5. mitch and i have been together over 12 years.. 6. we live in a suburb of atlanta georgia.. 7. we love to eat out and have friends over for dinner and board games.. 8. the only sport i was ever any good at is tennis.. 9. my favorite tv show of all time is the simpsons.. 10. we are both naturists and wish we could lay on the beach naked every day.

  i didnt realize the society banned chess..thats hilarious...can someone dig up this article???

  I guess the society wants to keep the rank and file dumb like sheep and not allow them to sharpen their thinking skills in a game as timeless as chess

  I was bitten by a radioactive spider, and since then have found myself with amazing new abilities like being able to climb on wallas despite having the surface of my hands covered bby a skintight fabric and the ability to use 'spider sense'...the only drawback is it forces me to say 'Spider sense...tingling' despite it being fatally embarrassing when fighting crime.

  No - you still don't get where I am coming from or what I am saying. Love would "never make somebody do something they do not want to do."
  I want you all to admit it, males/husbands in the houshold usually get their way in serious family matters. We all know this is true in many cases.

  Moe you repeated that love phrase for support of a male head, you argue that he will not do anything wrong in his final say since love wouldnt allow him to do make someone do something bad or wrong.

  Moe, you need to realize we are all HUMANS. Male and female we are individuals. Saying women are inferior to men and should not get the final say in a household is no more wrong than saying black people are inferior to whites. You can back this up by saying black people are over twice as likley to develop heart disease than a white person and are therefore genetically inferior. You could say 'Would you want a black president making major descisions when he will likley drop dead of heart disease?'

  also saying that something happens alot does not make it right. I can say 'Admit it, murders happen alot in cities' that dosent mean murders are right. Think about this moe, the reason men have nipples is we all start out female in the womb. Theres not a lot that seperates men and women. Women have a tiny penis called a clitoris, it is over 3 inches long and becomes erect just like a penis. Men have testicles, women ovaries. Men can even lactate with enough estrogen.

  Remember george orwells book 'animal farm...the pigs changed the rules from 'all animals are created equal' to 'all animals are created equal..but some are more equal than others'

  Moe we are all humans, sometimes a man is more capable of making a descision in a grouop of people, sometimes a woman..sometimes a white person, sometimes a mexican.

  You cant generalize and say 'Mexicans should always be in charge because as a grouop they are smarter than us. Thats absurd and ignorant.

  Moe you really are talking not just from the 50' but from prehistoric ages. A marriage should be a partnership, where descisions are mutual.

  Moe i just read an article where a pakistani woman had her nose cut off, and her eyeball ripped from it's socket with a hook because she 'shamed' her husband. THis is the extreme at which the ignorant view that men are more capable than women can lead to.
